I took my first clay class in 1998 at the Durham Arts Council in Durham, NC. Shortly after that I became a studio assistant in charge of mixing the glazes. In 2002 I started teaching handbuilding and throwing. I have learned much and continue to learn through classes and workshops, but personal study is most important to me. I am always looking for ways to improve on my designs.
